Vacant: Mackay Position Vacant – “Management Trainee
/ Painting Apprentice” Location Mackay based with occasional work in
Whitsundays and Townsville areas. Type of Position Permanent, full time. Roles / Responsibilities 1.
Learning the ‘Painting & Decorating’ trade as an indentured
apprentice. 2.
Assisting with sales and estimating including: ·
Cold calling of prospective customers. ·
Ascertaining client requirements. ·
On site measuring & inspection of quoted work. ·
Estimating / calculating the price of quoted work. ·
Preparing formal proposals. 3.
Providing other administrative support for staff inductions, OHS
compliance etc. Requirements ·
Fit and healthy ·
Excellent communication skills & personal manner. ·
Good personal presentation. ·
Proficient with Word & Excel. ·
Accuracy & attention to detail with typing and calculations. ·
Able to work independently and in a team environment. ·
Reliable, honest & able to maintain confidentiality. ·
Car license. ·
Own car an advantage (for around town only). Conditions ·
Clerical or Building and Construction award. ·
Formal business and trade / technical training provided. ·
Uniforms provided. Commencement Late January / Early February 2012. |
